What this is
Online Orders is the staff queue for pickup, delivery, and QR table requests. It is not the till. After you accept, aPOS creates the sale, KOT, and (for tables) the open table ticket.
Today’s counts sit on this page. Full history — including declined, cancelled, and returned — is Reports → Online Orders.
Before you start
Turn the channel on in Customer Ordering. Staff need Online Orders to view the queue and Accept online orders to accept, decline, or propose changes.
Step-by-step
- Open Online Orders when the toast or Telegram alert fires.
- Open the request. Check items, modifiers, how (pickup / delivery / table), and how they want to pay.
- Accept — kitchen ticket and sale are created. BML guests then get a pay link.
- Decline — choose a reason. The guest sees it on their status page.
- Propose order changes (before accept only) — change products, qty, or modifiers and add a note. The live order stays as the guest sent it until they tap Accept changes. Keep original discards your proposal. You cannot accept while a proposal is waiting.
What the guest does
They add items (with modifiers if the product has them), choose pickup or delivery, fill name and phone, choose payment, then Place order → Confirm order. Place order stays dim until that is complete.
Status page: waiting, accepted, declined, or a proposed change to confirm.
Good to know
- You cannot edit an order after it is accepted or cooking has started.
- Pause online orders in Customer Ordering if the kitchen is closed. QR tables keep working.
